Meet the Orange Genie Team – Round UP of 2023
As we wrap up 2023 and head into the festive season, it seems like a good time to introduce some of our amazing team members, and look back on some of the things they’ve achieved in the last year. Our individual Meet the Team series will continue in the new year.
Running for Bucks Mind
We begin with our extremely talented graphic designer and marketeer, Livvy, who took on the challenge to run 50kM in 28 days in support of our chosen charity partner, Buckinghamshire Mind. That would have been impressive, but she actually signed up part way through the month, and ended up running the whole distance in just 10 days! Awesome job Livvy!
Visiting Blenheim Palace
Next, we have client accountants Grant and Adam and adorable furry friend Kiara, who took networking to a whole new level at the beautiful Blenheim Palace! Their networking adventure began with a lovely walk around the stunning Blenheim Palace grounds. Not only did they get to soak in the magnificent surroundings, but they also had the chance to build valuable business connections along the way.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Back in February we took part in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise funds for cancer support. We had a fantastic time enjoying delicious treats and catching up with colleagues while also doing our bit for this noble cause.
Together, we managed to raise an impressive amount of money that will go a long way in helping those affected by cancer. We are proud to have been a part of this incredible event and grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community.

The Surrey Three Peaks Challenge
In November this year, six intrepid members of our team took on the Surrey Three Peaks Challenge, which is 23 miles of hiking across the beautiful and dramatic Surrey countryside. Christine, Tyler, Jonny, Marnie and Adam came home with lots of positive memories and interesting stories, which more than made up for the blisters and fatigue. Most importantly, they raised £920 for Buckinghamshire Mind.
Trust Pilot Star
Next, we’re training the spotlight on rookie CST member Jonny Patel, who’s natural empathy and easy charm have been an instant hit with our umbrella company employees. You don’t have to take our word for it, though, because by November he’d received an astonishing 36 five-star reviews on Trust Pilot! Well done, Jonny!
Bucks Inspire Christmas Gift Appeal
A few of our team volunteered to help with the Bucks Inspire Christmas Gift Appeal at Waddesdon. Inspire Bucks, a local charity, runs an annual Christmas Gift Appeal to ensure that disadvantaged children and young people in the area receive at least one gift to open on Christmas Day.
It’s a Wrap!
And finally, Teresa, our Contractor Support Manager, returned from a few days’ leave last week to find the mischievous little elves had wrapped her desk in wrapping paper! This included her phone, keyboard, mouse and water-bottle, and they’d even individually wrapped all the contents of her pencil case!
