Your mental health is just as important as your physical health, and in many cases it’s impossible to separate them. That’s why our employee benefits platform, Orange Genie Companion, contains a number of services designed to help you manage your mental health – both to help safeguard your general wellbeing, and so we can be there when you or your family members need a little extra help.
Wellbeing Check
Wellbeing check is a questionnaire designed to help you assess your general health and wellbeing, and identify any areas you might want to work on. The report includes easily actionable steps you can take to improve your position. Because it adopts a holistic approach, Wellbeing Check is a useful way of monitoring your mental and physical health.
Meditation and Mindfulness
Whether you’re looking for a daily mediation practice to fit into your normal routine, or you have a specific issue to deal with, like elevated stress levels or difficulty sleeping, the Mind section of our Fitness service is there to help. With a wide range of guided meditations to choose from, all accessible from any device, you can practice wherever, whenever and however suits you.
Self-help workbooks
This is a collection of NHS self-help workbooks which can be read in your browser or downloaded as PDFs. They cover a wide range mental health issues and they’re written in a straight-forward, matter of fact way to help you easily absorb the information you need and take the necessary action.
Employee assistance program
Sometimes you need to talk to someone, and our emotional support experts are available 24/7 to provide you and your family with confidential support. Whatever life issues you may be going through, we strongly advise all our employees to use this service as much and as often as they feel it will help. Calls are free from landlines and completely confidential.
Online GP
Our Online GP service provides you and your family with access to excellent, confidential healthcare services at a time that’s convenient to you. You can arrange a phone consultation with a GP within two hours at any time of the day or night. Online video consultations are available within five hours, between 8:00am and 10:00pm seven days a week, apart from bank holidays when the service closes at 8:00pm.
